Sample costs of various items available in Davao. For the most part these come from the same place, Gaisano Mall. I chose GMall as it is one of the lower priced supermarkets in Davao, and I visit there on a regular basis so I should be able to get consistent data.

I do not intend this to be all inclusive, nor do I suggest that these are the lowest prices that can be found in Davao. They are a fair representation of what you can expect to find here, but you might pay more or less at other venues.

Whenever possible I try to use brands that are available worldwide, but produced/packaged locally. I purposely do not include US imported goods, as you can expect to pay handsomely for those and it is not the intended purpose of this sample list.

I’ve included both the peso and USD converted, though please be aware that the conversion is using the rate at the time I’m updating the list, which I expect to be monthly. I’ll indicate the date of the update and the peso to dollar rate for reference.
